For its october 2018 volume, this publication counted on the participation of LIFE ALCHEMIA project. Namely, PhD. Anna Goi from TUT makes a communication in which she explains the origin of the presence of natural radionuclides in drinking water and the legislation that controls this issue at a European level to protect human beings from this hazard. Goi also describes the basis of the ALCHEMIA technology and the steps to be followed to evaluate its technical, environmental and economic advantages in relation to the currently applied solutions.
